Australian Government

Austrade provides a range of support to Australian companies for exporting overseas.

Business.gov.au includes a search tool for assistance programs offered by State and Australian governments. It also provides advice to businesses on compliance with government requirements.

Entrepreneurs’ Programme uses experienced Advisers and Facilitators, drawn from industry, to ensure businesses get the advice and support needed to improve their competitiveness, productivity and to seek growth opportunities.

Research and Development Tax Incentive, a broad based, market driven, self-assessed incentive delivered through Australia’s taxation system, is designed to induce additional industry investment in research and development.

Jobs for NSW offers business grants, loans, loan guarantees and other services to help create more jobs in regional and rural NSW.

Business Connect provides business advisory services and business skills training up to 30 June 2020.

Boosting Business Innovation Program accelerates innovation in NSW by supporting greater collaboration between research organisations and their business communities.

Visas and migration offer visas to eligible businesses, investors and highly skilled workers of benefit to the NSW economy - with additional options for candidates seeking to live and work in Regional NSW.

TechVouchers drive opportunities for research collaboration between NSW small-to-medium enterprises and Boosting Business Innovation Program delivery partners.

Sydney School of Entrepreneurship teach practical entrepreneurial skills to top students from a range of disciplines as part of their degree or TAFE NSW program.

Jobs Action Plan (Payroll Tax Rebate) is available to businesses that create and fill new jobs. Rebates worth A$6,000 are available. To be eligible, businesses must be registered as an employer and paying payroll tax.
